Non-Registered Massage

All of our non-registered massage practitioners have completed 2200 hours of training within their program, at an accredited college in BC. They have a foundation in anatomy, physiology, pathology, kinesology and neuroanatomy. Management of chronic diseases, injuries and effects of long term stress are studied in great depth.

Please note appointments are not billable to extended health plans.

Kayla successfully completed the 2200 hour massage program and is currently registered with the College of Massage Therapists and Occupational Therapists of Alberta. She is currently providing non registered massage services in BC until she obtains her registration in this Province.

In addition to being a certified Manual Lymphatic Therapist, Kayla provides general and deep Swedish massage techniques. In clinic, she excels at identifying and treating specific orthopedic dysfunctions. Cases she has successfully treated include but are not limited to:

  • Lymphedema related to diabetes, cancer & injury
  • Postural dysfunction
  • Acute injury
  • Neural pain
  • Chronic pain

Following many years of interest in health and fitness, Tyler decided to pursue a career in Massage Therapy and has successfully completed the 2.5 year, 3000 hour program at the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy. VCMT has an excellent reputation and was highly recommended by others already in the field. The knowledge he received, combined with many hours of applied practice have deepened his understandings of anatomy and physiology as well as injuries and prevention strategies.

Tyler enjoys the opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary clinic and has a deep appreciation for the different levels of healing each practitioner can provide for a client and how these different disciplines complement one another. Marcie obtained 3000 hours of training and has graduated from Makami College with an Advanced Clinical Massage Diploma. She worked as a Registered Massage Therapist in Alberta for two years prior to moving to BC.

In clinic she incorporates different modalities that range from relaxation massage to deep-tissue including myofascial release, cupping and trigger point therapy.
